All Talk and No Action

Mummy Dearest has been sweating it out since past week.
There has been water shortage (to be precise availability only for 2 hours per day) in our locality and according to BMC sources - this shall get resolved by tonight !
Amen !
The past week has been dry - and hot - with tempers flying high due to pending household chores and unclean crockery.
Was wondering what it might be like to be a lady dressed in heavy jewels and colorful attire, walking for 10 kms. everyday, on sun-baked roads, for just a pitcher of water???

Welcome to our part of the world :)
This post made me nostalgic..In my childhood, we had the same issue for most part of the year...
Also I wonder wats with this 2 hour..We also used to get water for 2 hours per day then..
Lagta hain BMC walon ko sirf 2 tak ghinti aata hain :D
In our area we dont face water shortage, as we are quite close to the sea.
Mukta this is the real India, life is beyond the four comfortable walls of office, home and Curry Twist.
I hope this incident is a thought provoking one for you.
