This news puts me on Cloud 9 !!!
For anyone who has read Five Point Someone, Ryan is bound to be a fave !!
I absolutely fell for the character and I am very happy that it shall now be portrayed by my fave actor !
I am sure that he will pull it off well since, like Ryan, Aamir follows his heart.

I guess Aamir might turn out to be good in the movie as always..
But after reading the novel recently, I doubt if any one from the cast would have fit into the role of Ryan !
I mean a 6-foot, hunk etc...sadly even Aamir does not fit into this one..
@BS - True about the physique and all..
But Ryan was a LOT about Spirit and Spunk and raw emotions...
I don't think anyone could be better suited for the role...
IF it was anyone other than Aamir, I doubt if you would have tried to justify it saying "Spirit and Spunk and raw emotions and blah blah blah" !
Ab yeh toh wohin baat hui...like...a skinny guy playing the role of Bhima in Mahabharatha !! ;)
@BS - From what I remember, Ryan became a rage coz of his attitude. 90% attitude and 10% Hot Bod.
So again, Aamir shall fare well :)
