I am not much of a TV person.

Would rather read or sleep to occupy my time.

However, this baby, Dhriti Bhatia, now very well known as baby Krishna, is someone who makes me put away all work and other activities every night at 8.30 and sit glued to my tv.

Absolutely lovely child, amazing expressions and a sweet serial. Infact, this serial is the reason that Colors is currently enjoying the highest TRPs on India Television.

Apart from Krsna and his childhood antics, the serial also shows glimpses of the world that has gone by...

The simple way of life, innocent people and ordinary living.

They did the same things day in and day out and yet found happiness and satisfaction, had time to pursue their hobbies and indulged in merry making with loved ones.

Today, most people would have got bored with such a peaceful and chilled out life...

What?!! No tuition for kids? No karate classes? No homework?!!

Mummy at home..? No work? No late hours? No kitty parties to attend ?!?

Papa home early? No business deals to crack? No late night calls to attend to? Back to home in time for dinner?!

It's too much fun to get a glimpse into the days of yore...

I am very fond of this television program. I would not call it a, 'serial' or a sitcom or a soap opera, its a lot different.

I would probably say that it is a sattvik form of living. Yes, there are small pleasures that we often miss out on. I would love to be in one of these villages and live the simple life, where the entire village is a family, living and caring for each other, in the Bhakti of God.

The Gokul village life is indeed a utopian world.

The reason why I love this program because it highlights:
- The Importance of Bhakti
- Cause and Effect
- Austere Living

which is the Sattvik form of living. My love for it increases every day because:
- Lord Krishna (So beautiful, smart, witty, intelligent, innocent, obedient) blend in complete sync
- Dhriti Bhatia - Very cute baby, cant wait to meet her, I love babies.
- Reinforces faith in God.

@Dhawal - I agree that it would be great to experience such a simple and selfless form of living.

However, I think you are too much of a City guy to settle down in such a village :)

hey even i agree that this little baby brings a smile on everyones face. God bless her.
As i stay in hostel i cant watch this serial but me chori chupi mere neighbours ki khidki se ye serial dekhti hu. i know this is bad but i cant do without watching baby krishna's face. though mujhe kuch sunai nahi deta but i can make out. bhagvan ese hi bahot sikha dete hain.
and also i would like to share my point of view with all of you that there may be too many spiritual serials made but only those works which are made for good intentions and not just for earning money.
This Jai Shree Krishna truely takes poeple to that era. and even the characters looks so much similar to the paintings of the story books related to ShriKrishna that it seems like they were born to play these roles especially baby Krishna.

@Anon - Hello. Yes, this serial is one of the few most genuine serials being telecast.

Definitely a very good serial which showcases that era with utmost simplicity...

Thanks for stopping by..
