Well...Have been going through truckloads of emotions lately -

Happiness, melancholy, excitement, tension, detachment, etc etc blaah blah...traa laaa laaaaa

All I want to say is - if you belong to the "working professional" category and dream to get back to College for your PG, you might want to start studying well in advance of any exam/test.

After a break of almost three years, it has taken lots of will and control over mind to achieve whatever little progress I have been making with studies.

Once you start working, you are just so switched off from theory that it takes a LOT of warm up to tune yourself for the hard work that lies ahead.

I am presently in college and I am in fear of the very phenomenon that you have described.
I have two options-Either grab a placement or take up further studies. All will be hunky dory if I take up the latter. However, if I end with a job...Its gonna be a huge task to get back to studying in case I decide to study further sometime later.

@Ye manzilen - Nice to hear from you. GMAT June mai hai...

@Devil - I know...it does become difficult. Specially coz sometimes you see how futile it is to go through theory when practical learnings at work seem more logical...

@ARJuna - Hey, work-ex ka fayda bahut zyaada hai...So work ex toh definitely le lena...and if properly planned, then padhai bhi achhe se ho jaayegi...Infact, your work ex will help you decide if you ned an MBA at all !

@allthecrap - Planning an MBA that falls into my budget :)
Obviously the college name is very important too. Am not looking at US/UK at all. Asian colleges soch rahi hoon.

Also, CAT ab tak final nahi hua hai...all newspapers say "may go online..."
