I never thought I would get emotional about this…

But yet today, I am.

Over the last three years…there have been innumerable moments where I have hated what I have done, felt bored, bugged, exhausted and stupid…Ya..I have felt stupid a LOT of times.

But there have been an equal number of moments that have made me feel happy, ecstatic, emotional, proud and worthy.

The last three years have refined my thought process, made me better at understanding sticky situations and helped me grow as a person.

If I have hated the long hours, then I have loved the knowledge involved in the work processes...

If I have hated every public holiday that I worked on, I have loved joking and the elaborate luncheons with warm colleagues...

If I have hated the bureaucracy and the snail paced processes then I have loved the "demand for perfection" that my job requires…

I feel lucky to have worked across various verticals… it has made me aware of how a Gigantic MNC works…In the meanwhile I have made some very good friends too…

Most important learning of all - Self Discovery. My Job might not have shed light on what I want to do later in life. But I definitely Know What I D'ONT want to do in life !

I can go and on…Don't Know why I feel sooo emotional today…Maybe because it's my first job, or because I am among the few from my batch who are still with the company, or just that I can't believe that College has been over for three years now !!

Whatever.

Hey
This is the usual story for generations and it will always be.....the loss of "that innocence, raw idealism" in college that we miss most.

I feel for you.....

Keep your eyes to the horizon, there is a lot to come..

@allthecrap - Thank You :)

@Ye manzilen - Yes, the most important thing is not to lose one's sense of idealism and instead combine it with healthy pragmatism...
