All Talk and No Action

I didn't believe much in it. Though somewhere, all along, I knew that there is no smoke without fire, yet, I thought...yaar yeh toh family man hai !
What an actor... always come across as a shy guy...and so on and on went my mind...
Now I am mad at him. Maybe a little more than mad.
Anyway, here is a very hard hitting post by Mrs. Anju Gandhi.
No beating around the bush. Plain Hard Questions.Thoughts all women have, but only a few ask.

u know even i liked shiney Ahuja
i found him very attractive
but now just cant even read about him
he appeares in front of media with his face covered
as if it will hide his mistakes and the crime he has committed
thanx for visiting my blog
Most of the answers self-evident in light of so many cases.
Worst are the innumerous rape cases of 2 and 4 year old babies. There cannot be enough words to express disgust.
To think of it, any such case is equally worse.
@Anju - Yup, nice actor and good acting. But he doesn't fit into the definition of a human being for me anymore.
Its always a pleasure to read your thoughts...
@Deepak - True. I just hope that Shiney's celebrity status doesn't come to his rescue.
Read Anju's post and posting the same comment as posted on her blog.
I feel its mostly about power. True empowerment of women would help in improving the situation.
Now at least we see that women & society at large dont blame the victim much. I am sure you have seen times when the victim herself had a lot of explaining to do and "she was asking for it" was a common refrain among people. Today a lot of women come forward and register cases. This has been possible because of change in attitudes.
Things have improved now and I hope we will see better days.
i am also thinking to write about him...its been many days of just thinking about it but no action.. hehe..
i also always believed him as mature actor.. 'Life in a metro' and 'Hazaron khwahishein' were quite valuable performances..
Once again.. duniya gol hai.. some days back i reached to Anju's blog through her daughters' blog.. and i am lost now to think about where i landed there from.. hehe..
@india unbound. All true. Also, I would like to add that true empowerment and education begins at home. When parents teach their kids about equality, respect for the other sex and sensitivity.
@ashkd - Yup, was quite shocking to learn about Shiney.
Abhi tak "open link in new tab" nahin seekha tune???
@BS - I have decided not to waste time on menial and boring tasks !
Nahin aata bol na direct...Kahen faltu mein fande de rahi hain???
@BS - Keh diya so keh diya. No menial jobs for me
For the umpteenth taim..here's how you do it...
