Janamashtami is one of the most important days at home.

Earlier, we used to go to temples and bring in the birth at midnight.

Then we realised that a better way to celebrate and assimilate all things nice, would be through having Krsna take birth in our own home.

Thus, since 1996, we have been celebrating Janamashtami at home, fasting through the day and feasting at night.

I had wanted to write more about what I feel and think about Krsna, why I believe in him and what I have learnt from him.

However, I also want to do justice to the post - and not make it an emotional/mushy piece.

Hence, the post will take more time to get featured here.
