Have waited eagerly for this one...

Having seen Sarkar, I must say, I expected classic cinema this time around too...

However, this version was hugely disappointing...

I wouldn't want to get into any postmortem as do NOT think it deserves my time.

Just the very basics -

Story - Nil
Acting - Average
Background Score - Average
Characterization - Poor

The movie does not have enough substance to hold a viewer's attention for 3 hours.

The only thing that kept me motivated to get ahead were the wisecracks of my companions in misery :-)

All in all, you won't miss much if you skipped this one.

hey comeon this was a pretty decent movie ...yes there wasnt a story, or good acting (on comeon with aishwarya there what did u expect anyways)...but it was that pathetic as well.. tp movie yaar...what else do u expect out of a bollywood movie....its about the experience, so next time you go to a hindi movie get your expectations right :P

Shyam Ji...i know ur stds...If u can find Sarkar Raj a "Tp" movie, Tashan "an intelligent comedy" and Apne a "wholesome entertainment"...Then God save ur companions :P

I feel that even Sarkar was an over-rated movie..and generally sequels are never as good as the first part..so this was kinda expected...

btw as Namrata said, I think your companions might have been in misery as much, if not more, because of your BORING presence as much as by the (equally) boring movie.. ;)

I found Sarkar to be an engrossing movie...with good performances and an unusual background score...
Yes..sequels are generally not upto the mark...but somehow I was expecting a lil more from this one...maybe the bachchan effect!
